Established in 1852, Marqués de Murrieta is a prestigious family owned Rioja estate. The Castillo Ygay is a Tempranillo, Mazuelo blend with grapes sourced from La Plana, a single vineyard planted in 1950 at Finca Ygay, 485 metres above sea level. Marqués de Murrieta Castillo Ygay Rioja shows notes of strawberry, raspberry, clove, and nutmeg with hints of tea leaves, fine leather and graphite, the tannins are velvety and refined.
