Château Clarke was owned by an Irish family for over 200 years, until it was bought by Baron Edmond de Rothschild in 1973. The Rothschild family restructured the vineyards and invested heavily in the winery. The 2012 vintage is drinking beautifully now with the added bottle age. Rich, concentrated and with velvety tannins and good acidity, this a wonderfully food friendly wine.
