The Story
To say the O'Briens team is excited about this wine is something of an understatement. A huge hit at staff tastings, this exciting red comes from Bodgeas Marta Maté in Spain's high quality Ribera del Duero region. The project was started by three friends with a sustainability and biodiversity focus and a low intervention wine philosophy. The result is wines such as this: fruit-driven, fresh and well worth investigating. (El Holgazán means The Slacker and the winemakers hail it as the perfect wine for drinking in “lazy moments”!)
