The Miquel family have been farming vines in the Languedoc hills for eight generations. Laurent Miquel and his Irish wife, Neasa, are the current custodians of the land, marrying over 200 years of tradition with a rebellious, innovative approach to winemaking. La Gauphine Chardonnay is unoaked to allow the primary fruit flavours to shine, it is characterised by zesty citrus and white peach fruit notes with refreshing acidity and a hint of texture on the palate from extended lees ageing.
