Sacred Hill Reserve Merlot

Sacred Hill are a certified Sustainable winery in the heart of the Hawke's Bay region on New Zealand's North Island. This highly regarded wine is mainly Merlot with a dash of Cabernet Sauvignon to add structure and tannin. It offers delightful notes of lifted red and black fruits, liquorice and pencil-shaving aromas from the ageing in French oak barrels. The palate shows good weight with supple rich grainy tannins on the long finish.
